Equipment Do's and Don'ts
Check out the guidelines below to ensure the wellness room equipment is used correctly and kept in top shape!
Treadmill

Don’ts |
- Use the safety clip at all times
- Start at a slow pace and gradually increase the speed
- Keep at least 2 feet of clearance behind the machine
- Clean and wipe down the control panel and handles after use

- Don't step on/off while the belt is moving
- Don't use your phone while running
- Don't exceed the maximum weight limit
- Don't leave the treadmill running when you're done

Bike

- Adjust the seat and handlebar height before starting
- Secure your feet properly in the pedal straps
- Wipe down the seat, handles, and display after use
- Keep resistance at a manageable level

- Don't rock the bike side to side
- Don't get off while the pedals are still in motion
- Don't adjust settings while pedaling at high speeds
- Don't use without proper seat adjustment

Punching Bag

- Use proper hand wraps and gloves
- Check the bag's stability before use
- Keep adequate distance and stance
- Report any tears or damage immediately

- Don't use the bag without hand protection
- Don't kick the bag
- Don't let the bag swing into walls or equipment
- Don't use it when the bag is wet from previous users

Pull-up Bar
